Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 to those who make display 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
