Believers, seek assistance in patience and prayer, Allah is with those who are patient. 153 Do not say that those who are killed in God's cause are dead; they are alive, but you are not aware of it. 154 And We will surely prove you with aught of fear and hunger and diminution in riches and lives and fruits; and bear thou the glad tidings unto the patient; 155 Those who say, when afflicted with a calamity, "We belong to God and to Him we shall return," 156 Those are they on whom are blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those are the followers of the right course. 157 ۞ Lo! (the mountains) As-Safa and Al-Marwah are among the indications of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who is on pilgrimage to the House (of Allah) or visiteth it, to go around them (as the pagan custom is). And he who doeth good of his own accord, (for him) lo! Allah is Responsive, Aware. 158 Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too). 159 I, however, will forgive those of them who repent of it, mend their ways and make own what they were concealing: for I am very generous in accepting repentance and showing mercy. 160 Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - upon them will be the curse of Allah and of the angels and the people, all together, 161 therein dwelling forever; the chastisement shall not be lightened for them; no respite shall be given them. 162 Your God is One God; there is no God except Him – the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 163
