"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 'In peace and security, enter them' 46 We shall cast out any grudge they may have in their hearts. (There) they will sit on couches face to face like brothers together. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 They said, "We are sent to a sinful people. 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
