۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
