Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
