O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 Your religion is but one religion -- and I am your only Lord, therefore, fear Me. 52 But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time. 54 Do they think that in giving them wealth and children 55 We are hastening to them of good things? Nay, they do not perceive. 56 Verily those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 and those who associate naught with their Lord 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 those, hasten in good works, outracing to them. 61 And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 until - after We shall have taken to task, through suffering, those from among them who [now] are lost in the pursuit of pleasures - they cry out in [belated] supplication. 64 (It will be said): "Groan not in supplication this day: for ye shall certainly not be helped by Us. 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Is it then that they do not ponder over what is said, or is it that there has come to them that which did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or, is it that they recognised not their apostle, and so of him they become deniers? 69 Or do they say, 'He is bedevilled'? Nay, he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse from the truth. 70 And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder. 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way; 73 but those who disbelieve the life hereafter deviate from the right path. 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed their afflictions, they would still persist in their insolence, blindly wandering. 75 And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
