The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 It will abase some and exalt others. 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 and you shall be three bands -- 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 reclining on them facing each other; 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 And spreading shade, 30 And water gushing, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 And couches raised up. 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 And have made them virgins. 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 For those on the right hand; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
