Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
