Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say, "It is great news 67 from which you are turning away. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
