Or, do those who have a disease in their hearts think that Allah will not reveal their hatred? 29 Now had We so willed, We could have shown them clearly to thee, so that thou wouldst know them for sure as by a visible mark: but [even so,] thou wilt most certainly recognize them by the tone of their voice. And God knows all that you do, [O men;] 30 And most certainly We will try you until We have known those among you who exert themselves hard, and the patient, and made your case manifest. 31 The disbelievers who prevent others from the way of God and give the Messengers a hard time - even after the guidance has been made clear to them - will never be able to cause any harm to God, and He will turn their deeds devoid of all virtue. 32 O People who Believe! Obey Allah and obey the Noble Messenger, and do not render your deeds void. 33 ۞ God will never forgive the disbelievers who prevent others from the way of God and who die as disbelievers. 34 So, be not faint-hearted and do not cry for peace. You shall prevail. Allah is with you and will not bring your works to nought. 35 The worldly life is just a sport and pastime; and if you accept faith and be pious, He will bestow your rewards to you, and not at all ask you for your wealth. 36 If He should ask it of you and importune you, ye would hoard it, and He would bring to light your (secret) hates. 37 There you are! You are called upon to spend in the Way of Allah. Some of you are mean; yet whoever is mean is mean only to his own soul. Allah is the Rich and you are the poor. If you turn away, He will replace you with another nation, and they will not be like you. 38
