Verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) are Gardens of delight (Paradise) with their Lord. 34 Shall We then make the Muslims like the culprits? 35 What is the matter with you then, how do you judge? 36 Is there with you a Book wherein ye study: 37 that tells you to do whatever you want? 38 Or have you received from Us an agreement confirmed by an oath extending to the day of resurrection that you shall surely have what you demand? 39 (Muhammad), ask which of them can guarantee that on the Day of Judgment. 40 Or have they associates if they are truthful. 41 On the Day when the leg shall be bared, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. 42 With eyes downcast, abasement stupefying them. And they had been summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt. 43 Leave those who reject the Quran to Me and I shall lead them step by step to destruction, without their being aware of it. 44 and I shall respite them -- assuredly My guile is sure. 45 Or do you ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 46 Or that the Ghaib (unseen here in this Verse it means Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz) is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 Had there not overtaken him a blessing from his Lord he would have been cast upon the wilderness, being condemned. 49 His Lord therefore chose him and made him among those deserving His proximity. 50 When those who deny the truth hear the admonition, they would almost cause you to stumble with their evil eyes; and they say, "He is certainly mad." 51 The Quran is nothing but a reminder from God to mankind. 52
