Nuh said: My Lord! surely they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children have added to him nothing but loss. 21 “And they carried out a very sinister scheme.” 22 "And they have said (to each other), 'Abandon not your gods: Abandon neither Wadd nor Suwa', neither Yaguth nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr';- 23 And they have led many astray. (Noah supplicated saying): 'Allah, do not increase the harmdoers except in error' 24 Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire, and they found none to help them instead of Allah. 25 Noah said: “My Lord, do not leave out of these unbelievers even a single dweller on earth, 26 if You leave any, they will misguide Your servants, and they will beget none but sinners and deniers of truth -- 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house as a believer, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin! 28

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
