And the Trumpet will be blown (i.e. the second blowing) and behold! From the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord. 51 (nervously) exclaiming. “Alas for us! Who roused us out of our sleeping-place?” “This is what the Merciful One had promised, and what (His) Messengers had said was true.” 52 Nothing will there have been but one single blast - and lo! before Us will all of them be arraigned [and be told]: 53 No soul will be wronged the least that Day, nor would be recompensed but only for what it had done. 54 Verily the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do; 55 They and their wives are in shades, reclining on thrones. 56 For them will be fruits and whatever they ask. 57 Peace shall be the word from the Lord Merciful. 58 (And He will say): 'Distance yourselves, O sinners, this Day. 59 ۞ Did I not charge you, O ye sons of Adam, that ye worship not the devil - Lo! he is your open foe! - 60 and that you worship Me? Surely, that is the Straight Path. 61 But he beguiled a great many of you. Why did you not then understand? 62 This, then is Gehenna (Hell), that which you were promised. 63 Burn in it on account of your disbelieving. 64 We shall seal their lips that day; and their hands will speak, their feet testify to what they had done. 65 NOW HAD IT BEEN Our will [that men should not be able to discern between right and wrong,] We could surely have deprived them of their sight, so that they would stray forever from the [right] way: for how could they have had insight [into what is true]? 66 And if We pleased We could paralyse them in their tracks, and they would not be able to move forward or turn back. 67
