Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 watching over you 11 Who know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
