And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 [Musa (Moses)] said: "That is what we have been seeking." So they went back retracing their footsteps. 64 and there they found one of Our servants upon whom We had bestowed Our mercy, and to whom We had imparted a special knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him: "May I follow thee, on the footing that thou teach me something of the (Higher) Truth which thou hast been taught?" 66 He replied, "You will not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 "How can you remain patient with that which you do not fully understand?" 68 He (Moses) said: 'If Allah wills, you shall find me patient, I shall not disobey your order' 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70
