The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 I am for you a faithful Messenger, so fear you God, and obey you me. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 They said, “You are under a magic spell.” 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 Therefore cause a portion of the heaven to come down upon us, if you are one of the truthful. 187 He said, "My Lord is most knowing of what you do." 188 But they cried him lies; then there seized them the chastisement of the Day of Shadow; assuredly it was the chastisement of a dreadful day. 189 Verily in that is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
