We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
