O you who believe! Fear Allah (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. [Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always], and die not except in a state of Islam (as Muslims) with complete submission to Allah. 102 Hold on firmly together to the rope of God, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember the favours God bestowed on you when you were one another's foe and He reconciled your hearts, and you turned into brethren through His grace. You had stood on the edge of a pit of fire and He saved you from it, thus revealing to you His clear signs that you may find the right way perchance. 103 Let there be a group among you who call others to good, and enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong: those who do this shall be successful. 104 And do not be like those who became divided and disputed after the clear signs had come to them; and for them is a terrible punishment. 105 On the Day when some faces are bright and some faces are dark, it will be said to those with darkened faces, "Did you reject faith after accepting it? Taste, then, this punishment for having denied the truth!" 106 But as for those with faces shining, they shall be within God's grace, therein to abide. 107 These are the commandments of God We recite to you verily; God does not wish injustice to the creatures of the world. 108 His is all that the heavens and the earth contain. To God shall all things return. 109
