The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22
