Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
