The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
