And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
