The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
