NOW, VERILY, it is We who have created man, and We know what his innermost self whispers within him: for We are closer to him than his neck-vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid. 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 Each soul will come with a driver and a witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 [Whereupon God will command:] "Cast, cast into hell every [such] stubborn enemy of the truth, 24 forbidder of good, transgressor and doubter, 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
