Therefore remind! by thy Lord's blessing thou art not a soothsayer neither possessed. 29 Do they say, "He is only a poet and we are waiting to see him die!?" 30 Say thou: wait verily I am, with you, among the waiters. 31 Enjoin them their understandings to this? or are they a people conumacious? 32 Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! 33 Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful. 34 Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? 35 Did they create the heavens and the earth? No! They have no faith. 36 Are with them the treasures of thy Lord! or are they the dispensers? 37 Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or do you demand any wages from them so that they are burdened with expense? 40 Or is the Unseen in their keeping, and so they are writing it down? 41 Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! 42 Or do they have a God besides Allah? Purity is to Allah from their ascribing of partners to Him. 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from heaven, they would say, 'A massed cloud!' 44 so leave them alone till they face the Day on which they will be struck dumb, 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 And so, await in patience thy Sustainer's judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up, 48 And in the night time, also glorify His Praises, and at the setting of the stars. 49
