The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
