The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
