And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. 82
