The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 It will abase some and exalt others. 3 When the earth is shaken 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 And ye are classes three. 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 but [only] a few of later times. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 facing one another. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of limpid drink. 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And (there are) fair ones with wide, lovely eyes, 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 And those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 and spreading shade 30 and waters gushing, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 So made them as maidens. 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
