And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
