Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble scribes 11 Who know what you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
