The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every backbiter, slanderer, 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 (And) vaults them over 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
