With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
