Hast thou not turned thy vision to thy Lord?- How He doth prolong the shadow! If He willed, He could make it stationary! then do We make the sun its guide; 45 We then gradually withdraw it towards Us. 46 It is He who made the night a mantle for you, and sleep for repose; and made the day a time for rising. 47 And He it is Who sends the winds as good news before His mercy; and We send down pure water from the cloud, 48 so, that with it We revive dead lands and provide drink for the cattle and the human We created. 49 And indeed We have distributed it (rain or water) amongst them in order that they may remember the Grace of Allah, but most men refuse (or deny the Truth or Faith) and accept nothing but disbelief or ingratitude. 50 Had We willed, We would have raised up a separate Warner in each habitation. 51 So obey not the unbelievers, but struggle with them thereby mightily. 52 ۞ And it is He who hath mixed the two seas: this, sweet and thirst quenching; that, saltish and bitter; and hath placed between the twain a barrier and a great partition complete. 53 And it is He who hath created man from water, and then made for him kinship by blood and marriage. And thy Lord is ever potent. 54 They worship besides God things that can neither benefit nor harm them. The unbelievers are defiant against their Lord. 55 And We have sent thee (O Muhammad) only as a bearer of good tidings and a warner. 56 Say: 'I demand of you no wage for this except for he who wishes to take the Path to his Lord' 57 Put your trust in the All Living who never dies, and exalt with His praise, He is sufficiently aware of His worshipers' sins. 58 He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne - the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed. 59 When it is said to them, "Prostrate to (Allah) Most Gracious!", they say, "And what is (Allah) Most Gracious? Shall we prostrate to that which thou commandest us?" And it increases their flight (from the Truth). ۩ 60
