Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds which carry dust particles, 1 Then by oath of those which carry the burdens. 2 then the easy runners (the ships); 3 Then by oath of those which distribute by the command. 4 surely what you are being warned against is true, 5 And the judgment must most surely come about. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 and perverted therefrom are some. 9 Slain be those who mould from their imaginations. 10 Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 11 they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?" 12 On that Day they shall be tried at the Fire, 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 The righteous shall live among gardens and fountains, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 and asked for forgiveness in the early morning. 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 On the earth are signs for those of assured Faith, 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 And in heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised [for your life after death]: 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth it is sure, even as it is a fact that ye are speaking. 23
