The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 and when the girl-child buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 And when the books are spread, 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 [on that Day] every human being will come to know what he has prepared [for himself]. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 The rising dawn, 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan, 25 Whither then go ye? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, 28 but you shall not, unless Allah wills, the Lord of all the Worlds. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
