The tree of Zaqqum 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 By the beneficence of your Lord. This will be the great success. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59
