The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
