[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]. 92
