And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Ya'qub (Jacob), (all) owners of strength (in worshipping Us) and (also) of religious understanding. 45 Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter). 46 and in Our sight they are of the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 wherein they will recline, [and] wherein they may [freely] call for many a fruit and drink, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail;- 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 Their leaders will be told, "This band will also be thrown headlong with you into hell." Their leaders will exclaim, "May condemnation fall upon them! Let them suffer the torment of fire". 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 [And] they will pray: "O our Sustainer! Whoever has prepared this for us, double Thou his suffering in the fire!" 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 Is it that we mistakenly made fun of them; or have they disappeared from our sight?” 63 That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire. 64
