Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Illustrious scribes 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
