Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
