We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
