It is God who provides livestock for you, some for riding and some for your food: 79 And you have (many other) benefits from them, and that you may reach by their means a desire that is in your breasts (i.e. carry your goods, loads, etc.), and on them and on ships you are carried. 80 And He sheweth you His signs. Which, then, of the signs of Allah shall ya deny? 81 Have they not travelled in the land and seen how was the end of those before them who were far more numerous than they and more strong, and have left behind them traces on the earth. And yet nothing of what they did profited them. 82 When their Messengers brought them clear verses they rejoiced in such knowledge as they had; but they were encompassed by that which they mocked. 83 So when they saw Our punishment, they said: "We believe in Allah Alone and reject (all) that we used to associate with Him as (His) partners. 84 So their accepting of faith did not benefit them when they saw Our punishment; the tradition of Allah which has passed among His bondmen; and there were the disbelievers ruined. 85
