Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing: 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 for an insight and a reminder to every penitent servant. 8 And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
