Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
