[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. 53 So leave them to their ignorance for a time. 54 Do they imagine that the wealth and children We have provided 55 We provide them with the means of competing with each other in virtuous deeds, but they do not realize this. 56 Surely those who stand in awe for fear of their Lord, 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And those who with their Lord associate not anyone. 59 Who give whatsoever they give (in His way), and their hearts tremble with fear that they have to go back to their Lord, 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 62 Nay, their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this; and their deeds too vary from the way (mentioned above). They will persist in these deeds 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 “Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us.” 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 and arrogantly mocked and reviled them. 67 Have they not pondered the matter, or did that come to them, which did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or, is it because they do not recognize their Messenger that they denied him? 69 or you said that he is possessed by satan? In fact, he has brought you the truth, but most of you dislike it. 70 And were the truth to follow their desires there would have been corrupted the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is therein. Aye! We have come to them with their admonition; so it is from their admonition that they turn away. 71 Or dost thou ask them for tribute? Yet the tribute of thy Lord is better, and He is the best of providers. 72 And verily, thou callest them onto a straight way 73 But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed their afflictions, they would still persist in their insolence, blindly wandering. 75 And already We overtook them with chastisement, but they were not submissive to their Lord, nor do they humble themselves. 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
