Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 Nay! I swear by the self-accusing soul. 2 Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones? 3 Yea! WE are Able to put together evenly his finger-tips. 4 None the less man chooses to deny what lies ahead of him, 5 He asks, "When will be the Day of Judgment?" 6 When the sight is dazed, 7 and the moon is darkened, 8 And the sun and moon will be joined together (by going one into the other or folded up or deprived of their light, etc.) 9 on that Day will man say: “Whither the refuge?” 10 But nay: no refuge [for thee, O man]! 11 On that day, the station is only towards your Lord. 12 On that Day the human shall be informed of his former and latter deeds. 13 In fact, people are well-aware of their own soul 14 Though he puts forth his excuses. 15 MOVE NOT thy tongue in haste, [repeating the words of the revelation:] 16 It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it: 17 So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation. 18 Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]. 19 Nay, but ye do love the fleeting Now 20 And leave alone the Hereafter. 21 On the Day of Judgment some faces will be bright, 22 Looking at their Lord. 23 Others will be despondent, 24 thou mightest think the Calamity has been wreaked on them. 25 NAY, but when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 26 and people ask, "Is there any wizard [that could save him]?" 27 And he is sure that it is the (hour of) parting 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 at that time towards thy Sustainer does he feel impelled to turn! 30

Notes and Instructions
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
يعرض القرآن الملون الصفحات بواحد من ثلاثة خطوط عربية. قد يظهر أي منهم بإحتمال الثلث، مما يزيد على التنوع الموجود أصلا في الألوان. وتبقى الكلمات خالدة الى الابد. وقريبا، سيكون للقرآن الملون خطوطا أُخرى جميلة إن شاء الله.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
