The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
