The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
